Security@ 2021 Call for Speakers is Open
HackerOne’s global Security@ conference is back for its fifth year on September 20, 2021. Today, we’ve opened our call for speakers! Are you interested in sharing learnings and best practices from collaborating with hackers? We’ve love to hear your perspective on how hackers, DevSecOps, application security, and product security teams work together to build a safer internet. The CFP for the virtual 2021 Security@ closes May 15, 2021 at 11:59 PM PT.
New to Security@?
HackerOne’s global Security@ conference gathers the largest community of industry influencers, public and private sector leaders, and hackers from all over the world. Together, speakers and attendees discuss everything you need to know about incorporating hackers into cybersecurity strategies. It's the only conference of its kind dedicated to educating the world on hacker-powered security from those who are leading us into the modern era of cybersecurity.
The conference name, Security@, signifies the first step towards hacker-powered security. A homage to organizations that create a security@[organization].com email alias to provide a communication channel for third parties to submit vulnerability reports they find. According to HackerOne research, 50% of hackers have not reported a vulnerability they found because there wasn’t a channel or they were scared to do so.
As attack surfaces grow and change as a result of rapid digital transformation, security strategies are evolving to prioritize speed, agility, and scalability. If you’re interested in joining us as a speaker, here’s what we’re interested in hearing from security leaders like you:
- Incorporating hackers into your DevSecOps strategy
- Scaling application security programs
- Leveraging vulnerability insights to maximize the impact of product security across the SDLC
Previous topics include:
- Meet the World's Elite Hackers
- Scaling Security From Startup to Unicorn
- “See Something Say Something”: DoD’s Lessons Learned from 10,000 Bugs
Previous speakers include Kevin Tierney from General Motors, Emre Saglam from Salesforce, Philip Martin from Coinbase, Pax Whitmore from PayPal, Dr. Amit Elazari from Intel, Kris Johnson from U.S. Department of Defense, Leonard Bailey from the Department of Justice, Christian Bobadilla from Priceline, as well as hackers such as Keren Elazari, Jack Cable, Samy Kamkar, Frans Rosén, Santiago Lopez, and Tommy DeVoss, among others.
